The Vestry typically meets on the second Monday of the month, and has been doing so via Zoom duing the pandemic.  We will gather online on Monday, March 8 at 7:30pm via Zoom to pray together, discuss the business of the church and enjoy each others' company.  An email will be sent with logon information.

On Sunday, February 14 during the 10am online worship service, we will insall the newly elected Vestry Members (who were nominated and approved at the February 7 Annual Meeting).  We are thankful to Lynne Mortimer, John Trapp and Patti Walsh for saying YES to this call to leadership on Vestry.

Faith Groups: Sharing our Lives, Growing in Faith

In place of Diocesan Convention (which is postponed to a date TBD in the Summer), our Diocese is hosting an online gathering focused on Faith Groups: Sharing our Lives, Growing in Faith.  The event will be Friday, January 29 from 7-9pm and Saturday, January 30 from 9am-12pm.  All parishioners are invited to attend.  For more information and to sign-up (no fee) click here.  Deadline is January 28 at 5pm.

Verona Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Interfaith Thanksgiving 2020

The Verona Clergy Council hosted the 2020 Interfaith Thanksgiving Service outdoors on the Town Hall Steps.  Participating congregations included the Islamic Center of Verona, B'nai Shalom West Orange, First Presbyterian of Verona, Our Lady of the Lake and Holy Spirit Verona.  You may view the service on the town YouTube channel.  Thanks to Randy Johnson for recording the event.

Multi-Church Youth Group at St. Luke's Montclair

Saturday, November 14

The next gathering of our joint Youth Group is Saturday, November 14 from 3 to 5pm online via Zoom.  Everyone in grades 6 to 12 are welcome.  Login information will be emailed from joint Youth Director, Liz Dalton, or contact her at youthgroup@slechurch.org for more details.  This is a joint venture with Holy Spirit Verona, St. John's Montclair and St. Luke's Montclair.

UPDATE:  On October 29, this event was moved to ONLINE and  from 3 to 5pm.

The next gathering of our joint Youth Group is Saturday, October 31 from 5 to 7 pm.  Everyone in grades 6 to 12 welcome.  Meet at the St. Luke's Montclair Front Lawn, 73 South Fullerton Avenue.  Mask and physical distancing required.  Join for fire pit, pumpkin carving, and other Halloween activities; costumes encouraged.  Contact Liz Dalton at youthgroup@slechurch.org for more details.  This is a joint venture with Holy Spirit Verona, St. John's Montclair and St. Luke's Montclair.
