Pastoral Letter From Bishop Hughes

Crest of the Diocese of Newark

The Right Rev. Carlye J. Hughes, our Diocesan Bishop, has written a pastoral letter entitled "How Shall We Keep A Holy Lent?"  We have included it in the Thursday, February 25 Happenings, or you may read it on the Diocesan website.  She encourages us to recognize the grief we have carried in this year of pandemic and connect with our authentic self, rather than emphasis our aspirational self.  She concludes with "You have my prayers for a holy and authentic Lent."
