Verona's Interfaith Thanksgiving Service 2016

The clergy leaders of four of Verona's houses of worship (Congregation Beth Ahm, Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, First Presbyterian Church of Verona and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church) hosted an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 3pm.  The service was held at the Church of the Holy Spirit, and featured a joint choir made up of voices from First Presbyterian, Our Lady of the Lake and Holy Spirit.

The service included scripture readings from both Jewish & Christian traditions, as well as music related to Thanksgiving.  This year the Clergy Leaders offered prayers and thanksgiving for Verona Rescue Squad, Fire, Police as well as the Mayor, Town Manager and Town Council.  Attendees brought donations for the Holy Spirit Verona Food Pantry, and light refreshments were shared following the prayer service.
