Join us for two presentations of “Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention,” a program of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). They will be held on Monday, March 12, and Thursday, April 26, from 7 to 8 p.m. on both evenings. The presentations are open to community members age 15 or older who want to learn more about suicide prevention, and the presentations are free.
Email Elizabeth at email@example.com to reserve your spot. The presentations are sponsored by AFSP New Jersey Chapter and funds raised at the 2017 Montclair-Verona Out of the Darkness Walk last October. “Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention” is a community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention and what people can do to fight suicide. Attendees will learn the risk and warning signs of suicide and how together we can help prevent it. Learn what suicide is, who it affects, what we know about it and what can be done to prevent it.
