Virch - Virtual Church Sunday Worship

At Holy Spirit Verona, we continue to "fast from public worship" in order to maintain physical distancing.  Everyone is invited to attend an 8am or 10am service on Sunday via a Zoom (online video) Conference.  For those without access to a computer or camera, a phone number is provided from which a person could listen to the service.  We hope that you will consider joining us virtually.  Click photo (or see below) for Login Information. ***VIRTUAL*** Youth Group

A message from Liz Dalton, Mutlti-Church Youth Director: We are living in a time of change and of uneasiness.  I believe there is no more important time than now to gather together, even if we have to do it from our own houses.  Youth Group will be held every week from 3-5pm on Saturdays, starting March 28.  Some weeks we will gather on Zoom, and others we may be on different platforms having a movie or game night, or other virtual activities. A Message Our Bishop - March 21

Here is a section of Bishop Hughes's statment: As of this week, all churches in the Diocese of Newark are directed to refrain from public worship. Additionally, all churches will fast from meetings and gatherings in the diocese for the duration of this health crisis. While we do not know when this crisis will end, it seems certain that it will not end before Holy Week and Easter.  For the full statement click on blue DON crest or read below. Read more

At our Convention just over a month ago, we focused on a word often found in Holy Scripture, behold. A simple word that sounds old fashioned today. Lent Madness 2020

What is it?  Lent Madness began in 2010 as the brainchild of the Rev. Tim Schenck (Rector at St. John the Evangelist in Hingham, MA). In seeking a fun, engaging way for people to learn about the men and women comprising the Church’s Calendar of Saints, Tim came up with this unique Lenten devotion.
